Token is a unique garment designed in collaboration with No Luck. Hand painted like a canvas with a brush and an acrylic based textile paint, it retains the effect and texture of real paint and is still washable. A secondhand garment found in a small store in Brussels.

Token is kept simple compared to the other single pieces of the collection. Symbols are placed on both sleeves of the jacket. These are two different sequence of characters, which are on the same jacket and therefore the same background.

The origin of the word comes from English and is also interpreted as a sign or mark. The definition of token in language use is the following. „Sequence of digits or letters delimited by spaces or punctuation.“ The Duden. Of course, the token also belongs to the blockchain, where it is used as an identifier in a very specific communication network.
